Perfect prayer! Yes indeed, "that they may last" and that our faith fail not. Thankful for such a heartfelt supplication. Powerful and empowering words. Let us walk in those words and believe only!

What a truly delightful and heartfelt prayer. Yet so simple. I'm sure that any family that regularly shares meals together, along with the expression of gratitude for all that we have, and share provide a great example for all of us who tend to no longer appreciate all the gifts we have received. Thank you, God.

Your poem captures the heart of Thanksgiving so beautifully. I love how it brings everyone together in prayer. Lines like "for all God's generosity, we give thanks and bow our heads" feel especially heartfelt. This is a truly lovely poem. It feels like a big hug!

This one is my favorite for the contest. The joys of being together with friends and family is so precious. Life is short and many have an empty chair or two from loved ones who have passed on. You have my vote! Keep on writing.
