I am in awe of anyone who can glide with ease on ice, and you've captured this scene beautifully through your words in this 5-7-5 poem, Nicki. Our best memories, talking as an older lady, are the simple things. A lovely addition to this Book of Renga.

This is a wonderful Christmas memory. When I lived in Minnesota we would alway go ice skating on the lake behind my sister-in-laws house. It was our tradition we started for the kids. Now we live in Texas and ice skating is nothing more than a memory.

And those are the moments you treasure when you grow up! Especially these days kids have so much material things compared to when we were little. Spending quality time doing fun things are most definitely treasured more! Thanks for your lovely review!

That's sounds lovely I did have that novelty but my partner did he's not Irish so her had the seasons! Pur kids love to ice skat any opportunity when they visit Poland and when the ice rink gets set up nearby on the run up to Christmas. Thanks for your lovely review!
