Thank you, Karen. I don't have a lot of space in my garage to open doors and I probably told her it is easier for me get this from the front seat, but need to forget about that, because if I have to break at all things are always falling. The whole was funny after I got over being insulted by the cop.

This is a funny and ironic story. I think Carol set you up for this with both things she did. That is, talking about cops and putting your groceries on the seat instead of the floor. I can see you being embarrassed, but I think to cop would have accepted you trying to save your groceries.

Ha Ha Ha, things like that happen to me all the time, one day there was snow predicted, I thought while I was removing my supply of food from the car, I'd better close the windows, sure enough I forgot, the blizzard blew snow into my car , it looked like a snowman was in the passenger seat. What a mess

Thank you, Yvette, I'm pleased you found it funny. It wasn't for me when it was happening but then I thought why not get a story out of it. I don't seem to hesitate about making myself look like a fool.

I think I'm a good driver but I sure that cop didn't think so. I thought he was about to offer me an escort home. I thought it was funny after thinking about it.

Thank you, Helen. I think I'm a pretty good driver as a rule if nothing is falling off the seat. I'm glad my children enjoy doing things with me. I didn't have that kind of relationship with my mom.

It is a horrible thing to be jinxed by your daughter and I am sorry that you were jinxed and that the policeman stopped you. Next time make sure she puts the food on the floor so it doesn't slip off the seat and that would be better. Patricia.

I have had similar embarrassing situations with the police. Your story took me back to those times. At 77 I'm sure that I will eventually have to go in and take a drivers test. Ugg!
