Hi MariVal,
so... even though it's only a cartoon, I still am scarred for life. I didn't want to touch on it, but where is Santa's other hand? Oh yeah, and that poor woman's back hunching like that, and her sagging... jowls... and btw, where's her other hand? And why is Santa looking down that way with a surprised look in his eyes?:>)
But the real question before anything is granted is... was she naughty or nice? I believe that may clinch the deal.
Too funny my dear talented friend!

This poem had me smiling as I read. I do wish for a new body, one that doesn't have any aches. LOL As for the husband. I have one, maybe make him help around the house a little more. LOl This poem was fun.

If only Santa had the power... but we all wish for things that might seem unattainable, at times the pleasure is in our ability to keep those dreams alive. Very well presented Senryu poem with good imagery.
