She should go to a lawyer or money manager. Move someplace better. And start writing. I bet with all her weird adventures she could make a nice living. Good writing. Karen

I think Miranda is happy with her life. She has Waylon, friends, her mom and Mitch. I doubt she'll start writing. She's a girl of action. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Please.can she have a "real" house without wheels? Karen

Hello Gretchen,
yet another great chapter. I hope Miranda doesn't regret telling Waylon about the windfall. Thank God she finally went in and got a blasted shower. I'm not sure I could have kept reading if I believed she was still sticky from the pop. Yuk! I'm a little anal about that stuff.
I talk to myself all the time, though not while I'm looking in the mirror usually. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.

Loved the writing tips from you / Miranda! That's cool how her mom inscribed the gift of the diary. My mom gave me a diary every Christmas when I was a teen. I think it was for "therapy" and she probably checked my writings, too. Lol. I started writing in Russian.

My favorite teacher told me never to write for an audience of people I don't know. Only write the story you want to hear. I took it to heart. I love that you wrote your diary in German. Prying eyes would be disappointed. Lol. Gretchen

She knows how sneaky Dougie is. No doubt he will find out. Or maybe he already knows. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Note to self: Save up two or three of Gretchen's Miranda chapters so you don't curse her name when the chapter is really, REALLLLLLY good, and she abruptly ends it. Damn you, Miss Talent!! Damn you!!
The back-and-forth conversation with herself is hilarious!! Honestly, you and I should do a genuine, for-real road trip. I would love spending untold hours with you.

Wow, it's definitely going to be difficult to tell Waylon the truth about his da, or at lest that is what I think it is.
You are an amazing author. Your stories come to life with concrete imagery to visualize the scenes. Not everyone can do it.
Well done (*=*)

Write that story Miranda, you got this. You're an amazing mother and you can do anything you set your mind to. I get into these chapters so much I feel like I'm Miranda. I can feel her strength and passion. Waylon just a precious little boy. Great writing.

Sometimes talking to one's real child is an effort, after all one's own kids don't tell you to your face what disappoints them about us, and believe me, there must be plenty, they'll share with friends, but not often with parents, and vice versa, it will be interesting what Miranda shares, well done, blessings Roy

I do hope Waylon understand what 'no one' means. It could cause real problems for Miranda if Dougie finds out. I do hope Miranda starts writing things down. She may discover how wonderful she is.

I love those conversations in the mirror. What a great vehicle for showing us her inner thoughts and struggles as she debates with herself how to move forward.
I also loved hearing her philosophy of writing as she advised Aaron about it. It was great writing advice she gave him, and he seemed awed by it.
Now this will be interesting to see if Waylon can keep his word and keep the news Miranda is about to tell him from Dougie. We know he'll find out one way or another, though.
I really enjoyed the very human aspects of this chapter.

I talk to myself in the bathroom mirror all the time. I give pretty good advice, it's just too bad I don't listen. Lol. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Gretchen
