This story draws from the Peanuts characters and turns the blood on cold. It was expected the sad boy would finally snap. I heard his dog crashed his plane and his sister is shacked up with a guy who never bathes.

Hahaha. Yeah, I gave thought to adding more of them in there but figured the silly piece was long enough already. I appreciate the stars and review, Bill. Have yourself a great day.

Oh my gosh, a different take on Charlie Brown than anyone could've ever imagined except for you... Lol
I'm glad Snoopy wasn't in the way. Funny, morbid and creative. Good luck in the contest.

This is an unexpected, gruesomely imaginative story. I like how you disposed of all the peanut characters. It's true Lucy deserved her fate, but poor Linus and Schroeder. I will never look at peanuts the same way. Excellent writing. gayla

Haha hilarious. After seeing the picture, I don't even need to guess who wrote this. One of your funniest and most inventive yet.
He walked out the gate with the same thing he went in with; his pants and that dumb yellow shirt he always wore. <= use a colon instead of a semicolon
Some cartoons characters deserve such a fate. <= cartoon
I'd also suggest starting the text below the image (at bottom of the editor, click advanced options and set the image small to small).
Excellent work overall, and a sure contest contender.

Thank you for the great review, SS. Yeah, some of my pics are pretty easy to spot. Lol. And thanks for catching the goofs, friend. This will clearly not be a contender. Kill of childhood icons and you're sure to fail. I just had fun creating the pic. Why I wasted my money promoting it I'll never know but that happens when loaded sometimes. Lol. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thanks again, friend.

I thought this was a spell-binding story until...
Long story short, Linus knew Charlie was out and on his way for vengeance. He didn't even wait. The police found him hanging by his beloved blanket in his apartment.
A day later, they found Schroeder. His skull was crushed. It turns out Charlie, after shoving his head beneath it, used the lid of his own grand piano and repeatedly blasted Schroeder's noggin into mush.
It just confuses me wholeheartedly, but of those writ so far, I liked your best.

They were both testifying witnesses at his trial that got him put away for 25 years. Linus hung himself knowing Charlie was coming for vengeance, and Schroeder was murdered with his own grand piano lid by Charlie. I hope that cleared it up. Thanks for the review, Tom. I appreciate the stars.

Well, now that is what I call original fan fiction (change from General fiction). I hope this wins.
notes:
I remember when he finally got out for his twenty-five year stretch for killing Lucy.

Thank you for the great review and giant sixer, Lance. I changed that line. It's definitely better with 'after.' I doubt it takes the win though. Murdering off childhood icons is a no no on here. Lol. I appreciate the rating, friend. Thanks again.

What a gruesome story. Poor little Charlie Brown. Your story is imaginative even though Lucy, Linus and Schroeder, the main characters, had to die. Please don't write about Mickey Mouse. Lol. Best wishes in the contest.

Lol. I can't guarantee Mickey's any safer. Thank you for the great review and good luck wishes, LJB.

That's a creative twist to the Peanut Gang. Charlie Brown is now a felon serving a life sentence for murder. It's pretty dark if you ask me. Prison is no place for a cartoon character, lol.
