That's a cute story and that dog is way too smart! She knew she couldn't go and he couldn't go anywhere without his keys! I knew some workplaces which allowed dogs to at least come on to the grounds but not into the building. Great story poem! Best wishes in the contest!

I have had dogs most of my life, they gave me attention and lots of love. They always misbehaved at one time or another. The kick on my face always made me smile.
