I love the fantastic color play. The black background with that rich captivating red jumps off the page.
Lost love does feel like it will go on forever. Most enjoyable, my friend!

Greif is such a lonely emotion, especially when in the situation of doing these little things and having to do them alone, an excellent free verse, very well written and presented****kahpot

Another fine poem, Gypsy....quite an emotional reality. In a strange way, we all want to feel this way, because it means we had true love. It may be a sad ending, but many never experience a love so deep

Oh yes, and although there seems to be a lot more widows than widowers, it doesn't quell the sorrow, my wife is holidaying with our daughter, while I look after our dog, and I miss her terribly, beautifully written, blessings Roy

The pain I felt as I read this poem is unreal. I wish I had a six left, but I do not. I got goosebumps reading and tears. You did a wonderful job with this poem.

This is nicely worded, and it was a good one to listen to however, I could not read it because of the red font on the black it just does not appear to me. May you have a lovely day and may you have God's blessing on your life. Patricia.

This was so sad. I envisioned a person who lost someone very dear to them. Life holds no meaning for them anymore. You captured the melancholy feeling of loss. Gretchen

So sad, I know that puppy fi elds are associated death, especially those lives lost at wartime. This kind if sorrow is quite relatable as nany have us have lost a love one to war, or know someone who has.

A beautiful portrayal of grief, both in visual and poetry. As ever, Gypsy, every word is assiduously selected for palpable impact. Thanks for sharing. Take care Debbie
