This was a great chapter, well written and full of different emotions. For Garth feeling twisted about his feelings for Rebecca, the Allie's visit to give him a shove. I do feel our loved ones always look after us, very well told, Carol.
cheers,
valda

This chapter was loaded with touching moments....Garth getting assurance from Allie to keep living, and loving. And Jenna, Matthew and Margaret needing to sort themselves into the family they need to be.
Nicely done!

It seems that telling Donatelli about the baby first was the wrong move. Why not tell him about the rape and that Garth was helping her when she found out that she was pregnant and then tell him that the baby was his. Again, more grief than needed because of poor communication.

Sorry I am so far behind in answering and thanking everyone for their kindness and enjoyment with the story. Three little girls (well not so little anymore) kept me very busy. I miss them already but thankfully I will surprise them for Christmas. Appreciate your time and thoughts as always.

Hi Carol, this was a great chapter and so filled with emotional feelings. They have all been through so much, but I have a feeling that Eleanor can sought it all out. She better had to, because what a mess it would be otherwise. Hugs, Ulla xcx

This is a wonderful chapter full of love and hope. Garth is willing to listne and find a new love, but Donatelli is so good at getting things wrong. He needs to listen to his heart before he says anything more that is hurtful. Did you ever have a story why Donatelli is so distrustful?

It appears we're going to have a happy ending. Matthew will get his act together. I do hope Garth speaks to him and lets him know there was nothing with Jenna but friendship. Garth will work it out with Rebecca.

His chest ached as though his heart were (heart was; heart is singular, so you need was)

Oh! I gave my six last chapter! Can you speed them like celestial jam over all of these?

My respiratory rate is nearly normal...
Although Allies visit had me grabbing for tissues!

I'm blubbering. That's a good thing!

I accept all virtual sixes! I like when I can swing the readers emotions from one thought to another...but the tear jerkers are the best! I am a sap for blubbering!

Sometimes I think grabbing for tissues is the best part. I do love being moved by a story!

Very well done. A lovely chapter. Garth is now ready to start again and hopefully Matthew will also come to his senses, literally and figuratively and start again too with a new family. Emotionally tense, and moving.

Glad you felt the emotions and how the story is unfolding. I like things to work out...my own version of a fairytale I guess. Thanks for the marvelous thoughts and the stars.

This is really powerful writing, Carol. I loved the scene with Garth talking to Allie, I could really feel the pain they were both going through. I loved the brilliant scene of Jenna being reunited with Matthew, although it was tough, I really hope Matthew will remember what they once had. Another excellent chapter.

Little Margaret needed a blood transfusion. Did it happen already? Did they get Donatelli's blood without him knowing or agreeing to it?

This was quite an emotional chapter for Miriam, Garth, Allie, Jenna, and Matthew. It sounds as though everything is going to eventually work out.
