All of lifes experiences are fleeting, emotions wants and needs constantly changing, as we reach out to grab one, it changes grows or has been entirely erased before we achieve it. Making it nearly impossible to find true and lasting happiness, unless you were to believe that you already are truly happy as is.

Hi there,
I don't have 6 stars to give to You otherwise I would,
From my understanding of your words You have to be satisfied enough with what You already have, and are,
thanks for sharing Your personal opinion,
Good bless You & Your family,
Sarah

Jesse,

This is a great commentary. I think social media has made people want more than they possibly need. So to speak, "Keeping up with the Jones" some people live vicariously through others. Sad state of affairs.

Well done

Cecilia

This commentary, Enough, allows the readers to take a moment and realize that we can dream big and we can just survive. Whatever we decide (probably something in the middle) will be what makes us happy to have been here.

You landed a solid ending!

You know, they made us read Animal Farm in school.

Yes, I liked this :
I am enough. I have enough. My accomplishments, after I've achieved them, will be enough.

How's your recovery going? I can see that your
Mind is as strong as ever!

In some cultures, people learn to love and appreciate the things they have. They learn that they have the things they are supposed to have.

In our culture, everything we have requires something more. If you have a house, it requires furniture, which requires upkeep and possibly replacement. We're never finished wanting. We want to write better. Then we want lots of people to read our writing. Next, we want to be published.

Your post is thought provoking. In the end, as you say, each one of us is enough.

Thank you for sharing about other cultures. Sharing is what it is about. I like how you put the line, in the end, each one of us is enough.
    Enjoy the day.

You have it so right, Jesse. But we are all human and just want that tiny bit more. I can't honestly think of anything I really need. I'm fed, I have a roof over my head, I am able bodied, and even though it's freezing outside, I am warm indoors. What more does anyone need?

I think there is a difference between wanting and needing. If we look around we will see people who do need more, those who have hardly anything. It would be nice if people had more that they need, would want to give some of it to those in need. Well done! I hope this makes many people take stock of what they have. :)) Sandra xx

You make excellent points, Sandra. Thanks for your kind words.
I hope people take stock of what they have and ask themselves is it enough?

Riches aren't what's collected, I've learned. This life on earth is simply in preparation for the next life. We are collecting bricks to build our mansion, even if we live in an outhouse. Thanks for sharing.

OK
Enough of this enoughness, I want more... Isn't that the American dream
Fortunately as a Brit I am not infected with this mind set and I can appreciate your words for what they are.
It is better to make the best of what one has than to ignore those blessings to try and take more and fail.
Of course I want more, do I need it. Probably not.
Am I happy with what I have, yes, pretty much.
But always remember.
Four legs good, Two legs better :)
Tim

I'm glad you are happy with what you have. Some have less, and some have more. It would be nice if those who have more offered some to those who have less.
    Enjoy the day.

Exactly, we must know and realize when enough is enough, I read here that you "Jesse" are happy and quite content with what is happening in your life at this time, (I hope this is true) and that you are mending and coping well, an excellent read, very well written, stay well and stay safe****kahpot
