This is a faith-centered poem that brings up the theme of the Fall in the Garden of Eden. The idea that mercy is like a dance is an interesting concept, since dance includes freedom of movement. Thanks for the author notes on the rispetto.

Even though my intentions are to be the "perfect child" in God's eyes, I am fully aware that I fall short of expectations. I, as others, are pleased that the Lord forgive us and knows that will never be perfect, but still loves us and blesses us each day.
