Okay. I would have went with Go tell other than Don't tell, finding the two views both comprehensive in their viewpoint. Don't tell might reflect a bad restricted zone one fell in. Go tell referring to the cut received when one fell needing aid.

Back in the sixties (in the UK) we didn't really bother - we used to go out all day to play, Home time was when the street lights came on. By that time, cuts and bruises were forgotten :)
