Wow... have read through a few times here and still I see but a dark vision here -- I'm sure the blonde is wrong on this one, but I would have to say that you, too, should answer 'no' to the final question... doesn't sound like dark clothed in light would be a good choice. Oh, to be wary of one in such disguise... Well written and challenging, sir! ;) Thanx for always sharing your pen! ;)

It is interesting. I also first thought of this as a spiritual poem hidden in the message here. It can be taken a couple different ways. Good job writing something that can make us ponder on the true meaning of your creative writing.

What a lovely poem. It flows nicely an tells a story from beginning to end. The picture compliments the poem nicely. We don't have blackbirds in Northern Texas and if we do I haven't seen any in the six years we have lived here.

Blackbirds fly to the Canaries from England every year and I recognise their song when I am on holiday. I hope that there isn't much snow to deal with this year, an unusually poem reminding us to be positive, love Dolly x

How I read your poem is that the only One Good Man is Jesus and His wounds shed the blood that could heal everyone from humans to the little blackbird and restore all of Creation to the Lord. It's the faith that gives us flight.
