Oh, how I so wish our younger folks could have their electronics taken away for a while and made to get to know each other... or at least SOCIALIZE! Even though I fear 'the pandemic' took so many of our socializing places away... A wonderful offering for the contest, my lady, as we all need LESS intrusions from those that have no real 'affect' to our lives! ;) Yvette

And Iza, I feel better too. Wow, what a ride you took us on. This was awesome and I felt energized just by hearing about it. You did a great job of being that cheerleader who could sell anything. You truly sold me on the importance of not sitting around and wasting life away, but instead finding what you can do to improve it.
I am fine, as I have a loving family and grandchildren who love me dearly. However, they didn't listen either and they grew up so I don't see them like I used to. I have lupus and have multiple problems because of it, but I am not down and out because I still do a lot. But I do love to write mostly and do my tributes.
That gives me the most wonderful rewarding feeling in the world. Even when some disappear and come back later, it is still a treat to get a reaction like the one I got from one certain lovely friend. LOL. Seriously, you made it kinda fun for me.
So thank you for this wonderful story and invite to all your friends here to enjoy what life has to offer and to always go for the gusto and grab that adventure that awaits you. Wow, what a fun read!! Thanks my sweet friend.

Most weeks, I never have a six past Monday, but this week I've been determined to save one for that special post that puts me to thinking and hits on something productive. And tag you're it. I almost bought a bar/restaurant/and hotel in Honduras called "Gringo's," at the time. The name has since changed. There was talk about the cruise ships coming there or to Roatan. But they optioned for the black sand of Roatan. I've often wished I'd made the deal, and the owner wishes we'd kept it together. Thanks for sharing.

I wish you did:) Roatan is magic, and unfortunately the locals don't give a damn for preserving that coral:( I hope to be able to go one more time, I still have some areas to explore:) I went to Fantasy Island,very cute and outdated hotel but amazing view and snorkelling place. Thanks for the honor. I wish to have more time and review and reward you properly, but this girl is in a dancing sprea and also I am writing a blog... How are you doing?

Sounds like a fun time Roatan. I was torn between living in Honduras and Belize, but both the deals fell through after my dad got sick and I ended up having to take care of him. Now, he's gone, I've sold the two home lots in Belize, and the hotel I wanted was bought by some church group. What kind of dancing are you doing?

Wow, is that you, diving with the ray? That must be so fantastic. While I don't mind snorkeling, I can get spooked by a huge school of fish that I don't know. They can gang up on you.
I'm so happy that you're meeting new people and making the most of your life. I still think you should be a tour guide in a warm water country. But you are also making the most of being in Canada. Best wishes in the contest!

I thought it was a great essay on getting yourself out of the fake social media rabbit hole and jumping into real life, and embracing it. Life becomes exciting when you live it in real life, and taking chances can lead to big rewards. You can see new places, meet new people, learn new dance steps, but you never get anywhere if you don't try. estory

Good for you, Iza!! Sometimes getting divorced makes you feel a failure, but you're not. It's not always so black and white. I'm so pleased that you took that first step out of your comfort zone and started living again. It sounds to me as if you have the best ever life now.
