Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I look at that picture and I read the words "Fervent calls." At that point, I decided that this 3-6-9 poem deserved a six star rating. Then you go on to earn the rating even more. "Tis never enough" you must have said to yourself. I'm guessing that Humanity is the "she." That is clever as well.
I love your stuff.

As always, the perceptive one, my friend... thank you so much for these wonderful stars!!! :) You know, it seems we find ourselves today teetering on that brink again... just hug those little ones a bit closer and you take good care of you down there!! ;) And keep that beautiful smile on your face! ;) Yvette

Yvette,
Wonderful poem and statement. I love the loud photo and your poem's sentiment.
I like the symbolism of the mother and her children's words.
Nice profound, philosophy poem.
Good luck,
Best wishes,
Cindy

Words do start a lot of events splattered throughout our existence. Something such as sound given it's meaning that would one individual kill another. I found this read filled with touching views. Big yes.

The visual is amazing! And the style of your 3-6-9 suite definitely complements it well in its vibrant and rather cryptic tone. I interpret this as Humanity's weariness, personalised as a higher authority, and calling, out of despair, for wars to end. Meanwhile the people (or children) resist out of stubborn force of habit. It has pleasing alliteration and succinctly captures the mood of our world that never seems to learn from the past. Well done and good luck! Debbie

What a lovely 3-3-9 poem. It flows nicely from beginning till end. It tells a story that is so true of our children. Especially, the younger generation. I love the picture it compliments the poem nicely.

This poem, if I understood it well, seems to point out how the old cry out, calling for an end to wars, while the younger ones see no reason why the endless wars should stop. I believe that warfare solves nothing, but a show of the animal in man. Well done, dear.

I liked the fractured, fragmented feel of the construction here, it is like a kalaidascope of feelings jumbling around in our head. We have these glimpses of slogans and banners of slogans but they never seem to get anywhere, or amount to anything. There is a circular feel to events in human history. estory

That is the trouble these days. The older people who have lived their lives with war going on around them want it to end, but the children don't. They want it to continue and the problem is, they make sure it does. Revenge means it won't ever end. This is a great contest entry, Yvette, and the picture is perfect for it. Weoo done, my friend, and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xxx

I was scammed and locked out of my laptop. It took them computer chappie three days to clear all the viruses. I got my laptop back late yesterday. So frustrating!

Oh my goodness -- that's awful!! So glad they got it back up and functioning -- I would totally go a little nutty without that tie to folks! ;) Unfortunately the wisdom of the old is gained by living... sigh. Thanx for the review, my lady! ;) Yvette
