The present moment is what I was trying to express in my recent poem: "Tempus Fugit". So, so many people live in the past and future, some of those that live in the moment, do not bless God, but Ceasar.

Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today -- perfect, because one never knows if you will see the light of day. We must make the best of what we have and enjoy each other now, not wait until tomorrow.

Roy,

Another great poem. Am I blowing up your ego yet? No seriously the four lines are very powerful. Not sure how the picture of Two Pac plays into. Unless you used him as an example how short life is really and we are all on borrowed time.

We are flooded with deception twenty four hours a day.
They shake with one hand, while the other reaches in your pocket. It has always been here, it was just not on full greedy display. I dispare sometimes when I see graft winning out. I pray and send good wishes as often as I can good energy to hold back the tide. Good writing Roy. :-)

Roy, What a great reminder you have issued to us all about the last hour. Our pastor gave a very good sermon on God's call. You used great and true words and very good scripture and imagery. May God bless you and your family! Blessings, Teri

This is a great reminder to 'redeem the time," especially since we don't know when our time will end, either in death or in the coming back of Jesus. Great thought! Blessings. Carol

I have written "all life is memory, except for the breath in my lungs." I agree with the premise of your poem. Matthew 6:34 tells us not to worry about tomorrow because today has enough trouble of its own.

Very true. It's a bit hard for me to sit today, but who knows what the morrow may bring? Thank you for this reminder that time is not of our making, it is His alone to do what He will with it.

We are not promised tomorrow. I make sure I tell all who are important to me every day that I love them. Steven asked one time, why I always tell him I love him. I answered, "Because I never want you to forget it." His reply, "How could I? You tell me all the time." I feel I've done my job them. Thank you for this beautiful reminder.

A beautifully written poem with a message we must work to remember every day. The future is not promised. Live today like it's your last. thanks for sharing, Roy.
