Wow -- this is a perfect example of flawless use of the poet's tools. To craft a poem using only what this format demands takes great skill -- a talent that must be a gift from our Creator! Best of luck in the contest with this most worthy entry (although if I had any say, you wouldn't need luck -- this would be my choice)!

As a guidepost for mankind as a species, there can be very little that is more important than words that we can trust and rely upon. If we are able to discern what is truth and what is untruth, we will have taken a very big step toward pleasing our God. He created truth so that we could use it as a guiding light, a provision as a path to follow. Sadly today, many follow a path that is dark and is leading off into destruction.

Amen! Yes, the Word is God and we are so blessed to know that Word. As the world changes so much, so many seem to forget what His Word was. It was certainly different than what so many believe it to be. I was raised by the Book and that Book was the Bible. So unless those who say it's all how you interpret it are proven correct, I will continue to go by what I was taught as a child what the true Word of God says.
