Beautiful, the presentation and colour, the imagery all work so lovely with the verse. One to think about with you second line though, unexpected I thought there may be something in your notes, I would love to know the meaning behind the line, thank you. X

The graceful and skilful bailarina can be any of us, Americans, avoiding the uncertain future in our present time. Trump's unqualified governmental cabinet is a danger to our democracy (bombs), like choosing congressman Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, who faces allegations of sexual misconduct, illicit drug use, and misuse of campaign funds. Gaetz resigned his congressman position to avoid an incriminating report.

Oh Wow scary to think roughs( I can think of lots of better words but I'll move on) like that will help to run a country it's sickening. Excellent how you expressed this in your poem. I didn't know that. People are shocked here in Ireland as I'm sure they are across the world! Xox

That's a somber thought. I think of Ukraine and those beautiful ballerinas who long to be dancing in their home country but cannot because of the war. May the Lord stop Putin!

Your perception is right, it can be about any dangerous times of war or political unrest.

My daughter does ballet, so I understand pointe position, but bomb stage gives me caption. Is thus in reference to a bomb under a stage? Th is piem is then very sad for the danger that lurks unawares.
Interesting but perhaps sombre.
