This made me smile and corroborated my own distaste for the multitude of sauces.
Personally, I would have gone for the relish if it had just a little spice.
Then again, I am not a great fan of hot dogs so the problem would be moot.
Your poem gave me a good nostalgic chuckle.

Your poem is so fun! I love how you bring humor to a childhood experience that I'm sure many can connect with. I couldn't help but smile as you took us through the whole ordeal. I love hotdogs and often eat them plain in the bun. This is a fun poem that takes the reader to another place. Your smooth rhyming of words captures the fun of eating the hotdog with the dilemma of no ketchup available. Many can relate to your words.
