Well Dodie Rae has certainly done a job on Officer Riley in an attempt to deflect attention from her grandmother. I'm not sure I've heard her being so sweet and polite, especially to a figure of authority. An excellent piece of dialogue that seems to have made some in-roads... but how much? You skilfully keep the suspense going in this imaginative and enjoyable story. Well done, Steve. Take care Debbie

Thank you, Debbie, for this incredible review, my friend. Carey may have to see for himself. His spidey senses just won't let him be, lol. Dodie Rae has a plan, I'm sure, to cover all scenarios.

Very interesting.
It's always hard to pick up a book part way through and reading a random chapter here is the same.
The skill of the author is displayed in whether the chapter can hold attention without any knowledge of the book in totality.
Yours did.
Well done on a great chapter and window into your book.

I shall watch out for it. If you manage the time to check out mine, I strongly advise starting at the beginning. It may prove less confusing if you do.

I will have to start your book after I get home. I tend to get involved and run late if I don't, lol. I did read a brilliant piece you wrote, and I will have to fan you, for notifications.

Well, it appears Dodie Rae did her best to divert attention from Bay Lynn, but it also appears as though Carey doesn't completely buy her story. Dodie Rae also did a pretty good job of convincing Carey of her concern for Riley--not so much for Riley's well-being but mainly so that Bay Lynn couldn't be charged with murder if he were to die and she was fingered.

This will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Dodie Rae seems to have made it her life's work to rid the world of abuse.

By the way, does she have a job?

Thank you, Jim, for this incredible review, my friend. Dodie Rae is pulling out all strings. If she finds Riley is innocent, her prayers may be genuine. Dodie Rae doesn't want anything to happen to her grandmother and now partner in crime.

I understand the conflict Dodie Rae is feeling as she processes if officer Riley is not guilty. I can't wait to find out what will happen next. Probably she won't give up getting her revenge.

Great story plot and well developed characters.

Thank you, Gypsy. I think you're right, and she won't give up. I'm not sure if it will be against Riley anymore. Only time will tell.

No blood and guts or hair flying in this chapter, but there's still some of that constant tension building that makes your story so entertaining.
Thanks for sharing.

This review has made my morning, Ric. I'm sure the claws will come out again soon, lol. I feel this book will be a trilogy as I have two more books swimming around in my head.
Thank you for this incredible review, my friend.

I can really feel the conflict that Dodie Rae is going through as she tries to work out if Officer Riley is innocent. I'm really keen to know what she is planning to do next, I certainly don't think she's going to give up on extracting her revenge yet. A well written chapter, Steve, I enjoyed reading it.

I do hope Carey accepts Dodie Rae's story about her grandma. Now, why am I rooting for somebody who attempted to kill somebody. That's not right. HMM, I'm starting to worry about myself. I do like this story. You are mixing up the lines of right and wrong.

I imagine it was hard to twist all that stuff around to fit her scenario. It was very well done. I love reading about Dodie Rae. I will sure miss her when this story is over. You have a good week. Karen

Thank you, Karen, for this beautiful, six star review. I believe this book will turn into a trilogy. I have quite a few ideas locked away. I feel as if she is a part of me now, and It will be hard to let her go.
God bless and have a great week as well, Young Lady!

We can see a book on Bay lyn' beginnings. Then go back and see her Grandmother, or aunt.'Many ways to go. It would be interesting to see if they accidently run into a group of other changelings. There are lots of things you can do. Love you sweetie. Karen

I would love to tell you my ideas, but I don't want to spoil the story. I'm trying to write a little more so I can get this one done and get the next one started. I love your ideas, as there is a ton of ways to work this series. The next few chapters will solidify the way Dodie Rae will be going.
Love you, too, Lady. You're always inspirational.

Yes, but the crown does get heavy from time to time. Give me a great opening line to get me started. Like: Genevive had been watching Cleveland for some time, her binoculars were pulling on her neck. She diesn't think he has moved in hours, and that position cannot be comfortable. Wait a minute, the cat, the cat is chewing on his fingers. I have to go throw up, then call 911 a tad late. :-)

So, Officer Carey's suspicions have switched, it seems, from Dodie Rae to Bay Iyn, But he cant be sure, but now she's confused about Officer Riley, perhaps he is, at least being verbally abused, his wife must be a shrew, beautifully written Steve, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy. There is quite a bit of confusion in both of their worlds. I'm sure it will get figured out soon. I have a twist coming in the next few chapters that will have them reeling.

I have a feeling that Carey is still thinking Dodie Rae's grandmother is involved and nothing she said has made him think otherwise. But at least he's not thinking of her. I hope Officer Riley pulls through, and I hope his abusive wife changes. If that happens, then Dodie and Bay Lynn can relax. Another great chapter, my friend. Well done. :)) Sandra xx
