I love the way you describe all the little comforts that make the weekend so special! I especially love the honesty about the chocolate ice cream and endless TV time. haha Your playful tone shines through! Especially in the lines about "kicking people to the curb" and "being a pig" - it's all so real! This was such a delightful read.

I absolutely love this poem that tells the guilty pleasures in life. The rhyming is perfect and the story flows to completion. Nothing better than a weekend by yourself and no responsibilities. Those when married and have kids are the best.
