Not sure I understand this one, it comes off angry and feels like you have been recently deceived by someone. If that was exactly what you were going for then maybe I get it and it took me to an angry place where people lie, cheat and steal.

I thought this was very clever. The line "the devil has ONLY LEFT" stood out to me. It is so dramatic. The "reptilian sentinels" and rats really brought a sense of menace to your writing. You've shared a powerful atmosphere and the final lines are terrific. Great work! Keep it up!
