What a witty poem! I love the flow of your lines. It seems to add a playful tone to the serious subject matter. The punchline about searching for a "hopeful called Chad" is perfect! It left me with a smile. Your ability to blend humor and commentary is impressive--great job!

Great poem. I really enjoyed it. I like how you used word play in this poem. I also love that your new candidate was chad. Funny stuff. I just had to explain to my 26 year old son what a chad was.
