Thanks for sharing another outstanding chapter that's entertaining from beginning to end. Something that's real important to me an impatient one.
Thanks for sharing.

This was a well-conceived chapter, Steve. Dodie Rae and Bay Lynn came up with a plausible explanation of her presence at the Riley's and the appearance and disappearance of her car. I guess I didn't realize until now that it might have been Riley who had been abused, not the other way around. Neat twist.

I'm amused by Dodie Rae's reaction to Mama's news that she killed Riley. She had wanted to do it! Ah, Dodie Rae. Ya gotta love her. At least she seemed relieved to find out he wasn't dead after all when she found out he might be innocent. There's hope for that girl yet.

Thank you, Jim, for this incredible review, my friend. Dodie Rae has a soft side. I think the confidence the wolf has given her took her to new levels. Now, I believe she will show a more compassionate side, as she has in this chapter. But I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens, lol.

What in the world! That was the biggest twist ever! I never would have seen that coming and I love it! Way to keep the intrigue up, Steve! Can't wait for the next chapter. Great job!

I like how Dodie Rae has transformed into a new person at the end of this piece, although I could feel her anger at her grandmother earlier for being the person to kill Officer Riley instead of her. An excellent piece, Steve. I really enjoyed reading it.

Thank you, Jacob, fo this incredible review, my friend. I think that Dodie Rae has always been a great person with a lot of issues. I think the Wolf has given her the confidence she needed. However, once she felt invincible, she became a bit too ballsy.

You never disappoint, Steve. This was another riveting chapter in a book about a woman who i don't know if I'm rooting for her or against her. While I understand her anger and pain, i wonder if she's doing this vigilante stuff for others or for herself. I loved the prayer for Riley at the end. Nice touch. Gretchen

Thank you, Gretchen, for this beautiful six-star review, my friend. I think that Dodie Rae's reasons are combined. She's on both sides of the fence, I'd say. I believe she will define her true reasons in future chapters.

Thank you, Karen, for this incredible review, my friend. Unfortunately, I worked on Halloween. We don't usually have trick-or-treaters anymore. Everyone goes to the churches for trunk-or-treat. I hope yours was better. Dodie Rae being in jail is the ultimate alibi, lol.

Things seem to be working out for Dodie Rae and Bay Lyn, But did Dodie Rae do something stupid when she walked toward the ICU to find out if Officer Riley was OK, and encountered Officer Carey, perhaps, but maybe you've got something up your sleeve, well done, Blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy, for the excellent review. I felt it wasn't the brightest thing to do, but her curiosity got the better of her, and now she regrets it.

I'm glad to see Dodie Rae show some compassion for Riley. I really like this story.

before the Judge. Dodie Rae thanked the Judge (because of 'the' it's 'judge'.)

followed him home, and I killed him." she sobbed. (She sobbed.)

"Where's Officer Riley?" She said, noticing the tension in Carey's back at the mention of his partner (she said,)

he shouted, pointing at the ICU wing." (omit quotation marks)

Thanks, Barbara, for this excellent, helpful review, my friend. I agree; Dodie Rae was long overdue for compassion with Riley. It goes to show that we never really know what one is going through.
I have edited the issues, but I can't figure out the before-the-judge issues.

If you just said Judge, it would be capitalized, but when you say the judge, the 'the' causes it to be lowercase.

If Riley says it was a woman and thinks it could be Dodie Rae, he will have to rethink his thoughts on her when he's told she was in jail. Things are getting harder to stay in the clear. Now Mama has gone home, that might be good. But, what if Mama gets home and sees other men abusing women, will she carry on killing there? This opens so many possibilities. Another great chapter, my friend. :) Sandra xx
