They grow something alright but I never hung on to a pumpkin long enough to find out.
This is a cute and definitely a short haiku.
Well done Gypsy!

Heh! Heh!
Yes, they do. What a brilliant short you have created, Gypsy. But, I've come to expect this from you, my friend. You have a fantastic gift.
God bless,
Steve

I changed the plural beards. I don't understand the other suggestions.

    Thank you very much 😊

Do they? O, I think I have noticed some of their left in seeds sprouting, linda looked like a beard. I know that my friend use the oil to help hair grow in patches where he has lost hair. Anyway, well presented thoughts.

Old cut up pumpkins get ugly after a while.

Hi Marival, you are the Master of Haiku poetry
my sweet friend...

your poem reminded me of the pumpkins at the
home where I babysit...after a week of Halloween...
your pumpkins grew a beard...the squirrels and rabbits
eat most of their pumpkins...I was glad to see them get
eaten...and not just thrown away...

I love you poem beautiful you...and love your picture...
very well thought of...very well written...love you...Linda xxoo

Lol. They grow more than beards and they wrinkle and shrivel, too! But if you put them in the garden, they will come back the next year! Enjoyed your fun post-Halloween poem!

I wish we had a garden, that's a great idea.

Thank you very much, big sister ❤️

Haha! They do look menacing and I don't think I'd like to see them with their week old facial hair! Once again you make me smile with your lovely, imaginative and rather surreal humour! take care Debbie

And sagging facial features... lol! ;) A fun offering for the season, Lady G, who knew fruit could have fur, eh? ;) ;) Thanx for sharing that smile! ;) Yvette
