Thank you for sharing this beautifully written faith flash Daniel. I love to read stories like this. It gives me hope. I like you was a very curious child too. I did actually ask a question one day while driving my car to test Gods existence. In a simple way, nothing too profound. I was driving in my car and while driving I said aloud 'if you exist God, show me a sign - I want to see a rainbow'. No word of a lie, a few moments later as I reversed into my driveway there was a massive rainbow right in front of me. Perhaps a coincidence but it definitely made me wonder. Thanks for sharing your story and best of luck in the contest.

Wow!! Amelie, I truly believe the rainbow you saw was God saying to you. "Here I am". That was no coincidence, no way. God's answers always come in a way that only He could do. You asked and He "immediately" answered in a way that you could only say, "WOW!!" There wasn't a time gap, like a day later, it was so fast that you didn't have time to even forget that you asked Him for it. Thank you for sharing that. It's an awesome reminder of God's presence.
If you ever feel hopeless or down... just remember the Rainbow.

Thank you Daniel. You are right, there was no time gap. I asked at a time when there was certainly no rainbow in front of me to be seen and it was literally a minute later. Your the first person I've mentioned this too so it is only when you share it and get a reaction that you think maybe there was something to that. Thanks for your response.

My own faith came in my late teens, as a science nerd I had always felt if you trust science then show me the proof for God. A person who I respected, mostly because I had a crush on her daughter, on day challenged me. If I trusted science, be scientific, challenge God to prove himself. So I did.
Like you I said for him to show me if he was real, bought a bible, that I still have now over 40 years later, and read it cover to cover in a little over a week. I went back to my friend and spent a whole day in question, challenging, referencing, arguing. In the end I had no option. I know God is real and I know Jesus died for me and saved me.
Can I prove it? No.
Do I have faith. Yes absolutely.
The definition of faith I always hold on to is this.
Faith is believing in something that you cannot prove nor disprove.
My faith is complete

Trust and faith seem to be interchangeable, I must admit I've never addressed that question to the human bible, it's best to go to the Ancient Greek to get an answers, I came to faith when I was 41, beautifully written, blessings Roy
