Hi Liz,
I enjoyed the "trouble" you and your siblings created with your imaginative playtime. You built up the curiosity and suspense well with the medicine bottle escapade.
I think you were with Mickey, but then you started using Nike in the same scene. Was that a mistake? Then you moved on to Nike's room. Are Mickey and Mike the brothers? Are they in separate scenes? (the confusion is the reason for the four stars. If you correct this, I'll change your rating.)
When that was carried out a fresh plan for another stickup could be formulated. (I had to read your last sentence several times to understand it. If you place a comma after 'carried out' it would help.)

Nike, Mickey, and Mike are all the same person just had a lot of names. In his pre-whack days, he was Mickey. When he began recovering from his head injury he decided he wanted to be Mike.
-
Since this is chapter 10, I suspect you already addressed the different names for Mickey. I'll raise your rating to 5 stars.
-
His name before his head injury, was Mickey but then when he was recovering from his head injury he wanted to be Mike. It's like me I do not want to be Elizabeth i want to be Liz.

Thank you for your consideration

The trials and tribulations of raising children, some disaster is waiting too happen. They are the definition of entropy. Disorder prevails. Also the true form of birth control.

Those were the days when we had the freedom to be creative in our playtime. Before all the gadgets and gadgets that everybody gets distracted with now. That was a fun thing for me to read as I lived in a hotel briefly as we moved from one house to another. Kids can get very mischievous and I was one of them. I used to stop the elevators in between floors and either climb up to the next floor or jump down to the one below. It never got me to visit a hospital, but it definitely could have.
Thank you for the read.
Happy writing,
Lana

This makes a it sound a little like us. I see what you're saying you didn't have to visit the hospital but you could have. Well as you may have read a little earlier we did, & we have.
-
Yes, I did read that hence why I had said that about me not visiting in the hospital, and yes, definitely could have gotten hurt. But as youngsters we don't seem to think about the possible dangers. 😊

So accurate... Thank you for reading my chapter

Oh, Liz, this is hilarious. I so enjoyed reading all the shenanigans you and your brother were up to. I wonder if your mother was tearing out her hair because of the two of you. Lol. I.loved the read. Ulla:)))

It was an interesting story about the brown stuff in the bottle, but you didn't explain why your brother ended up in the hospital because of it. We didn't have any closets when I was three, just a rope hung across a corner of our two-room shack.

What fun memories! I am glad you and your brother had such great imaginations and could act out those movies with your own stories. Your mom was so very tolerant! I don't think most kids would have gotten away with those antics!

Thank you for your amusing review. Our mom just let us have a lot of fun she knew we liked the Cowboy shows so she went right along with it.

I loved every second of this and wish I had six for you. We had a small pantry with three rows, and I often would climb up nd inspect the treasures there. My mom had an old can of "Mead's Dextri Maltose" in which she would put pennies and mementos. I loved bringing that down and inspecting it. Today, that is the only memento of hers that I have in my room, safe by my computer.
By the way, it is Whip Wilson and Lash LaRue.

Thank you for sharing these memories. My brother was probably between three and four when he climbed on top of the refrigerator and ate a box of Exlax thinking it was chocolate. He shared it with our dog. LOl No, mom can't watch everything.
