Oh, Helen, this was a hilarious entry for the convention. You managed to mention so many writers including me. But what really pleased me was how you included so many of our beloved but departed writers on this site. Rip to them all. Ulla xcx

Thanks so much, Ulla! I didn't want to leave anyone out but my brain isn't up to the task. Sigh. Appreciate your lovely review! Hugs!

I loved reading your version of events and I laughed at the line "When do we kill him off." I thought that was really well thought of. A really entertaining piece, I enjoyed reading it.

Hello Helen,
even though you might have had an invisibility cloak, I would have recognized you, I'm sure. Remember, I have a picture of the beautiful bride at her wedding. I would almost bet money that you haven't changed so much.
I love this song by Kari Jobe. It's really long, but it's stirring and one that I think should be sung in church at least once a month as a reminder of the Lord's feelings for us. Well done gal. You sure know a lot of people.
Have a blessed day my friend.

Thanks so much, Tom! We talked about that song before. When our six friends were here and visiting our church, that was the final song during worship. We made a pact to sing that song for our families for the next forty days. We anticipate great things! Hugs!

I very much enjoyed your version of the party and you did a very good job with it. You added some more tame going on than had been in some of the other stories and I appreciate that. May you have a lovely day and may you also have a very good weekend.

I loved this, Helen. I had just asked Debi about you because I hadn't seen any of your posts, but the truth is I haven't been around much lately.
It sounds like a lot of fun, but easier to do for those of you who know lots of people.
If you say you are shy, then I don't know what I am. Probably invisible without the cloak.
Thanks for the fun, creative read.

Yes, I am an introvert! But I can write better than interact in person! Thanks so much for the super review and rating, MJ ! Yes, I have been offsite for four days.
Hugs!
-
I have been offsite for ages, so no worries.
I'm an introvert too, but my students used to think I was an extrovert. I think it's just a persona we use as a cape when we are in control. x
-
Our students think we are extroverts because we're technically "on stage" when we teach but we know it's not the same as social interactions! 😊💞
-
No, I always told them that was a persona, and used the chance to explain the word.
I also told them that I wasn't lying to them or anything, but that my classroom was my comfort zone... most of the time. x

OMG, that was so much fun to read. I enjoyed the fact that I recognized most of the writers mentioned and am honored that I was mentioned. I somehow missed how the book was created and what the assignment is. Can you clue me in? Evi

Thank you for the super review and rating, Evi!
I was following Rachelle and Gretchen's book about their joint trip to the Fanstory Convention. It was just the two of them for the first couple of months or so but last week, Rachelle invited all to participate to come up with an ending. I don't know if their book will continue or not. Anyway, just look up Rachelle Allen or GWHARGIS for their book. Rachelle's invitation was in:

The contest is over now.

This is a fantastic recounting of the events of the evening with the thousand stars of Fanstory, and also Jane whatshername and me. I learned a lot, including that RickMyWorld carries aces in his sleeves. He'll be tucking them in his new arm cast for the next few weeks.

Lol. Oh dear! My bet was on him because he actually goes to those national poker conventions. So I figured he must win a lot.
Thanks for the super six stars, Bill! It was fun to think about.
Hugs!

Goodness, Helen, what a comprehensive account of the membership here! And I enjoyed the little snippets of information about them, so useful to get to know them better. I'm always a little confused by some names, not knowing if they're male or female. This was definitely a more civilised affair by the time you arrived. But what a rabble! I'm glad they were encouraged to take their mind off all the fighting and resume their more cerebral activities. Thank you for sharing your excellent take on proceedings. Debbie

Lol! Yes, I'm sure the writer in each would come out eventually. We have so many different interests and hobbies among us that we won't be bored with each other. Thanks for reviewing, Debbie! As much as I wanted to included everyone, I still missed some! Hugs!

I thoroughly enjoyed your version of the party. You included so many writers that it added to the fun of reading, as you reminded us of so many of our writing family members. Most of all, I enjoyed how you incorporated the interests and talents of many of the writers. I could almost hear you and Teri singing with me. I loved the song you chose, and the video. You brought everyone together peacefully, without any turmoil. Beautiful.

Thanks so much, Lorraine! It would be so fun to sing with you! I used to be in a choir but my voice isn't very strong and as I age I've become more alto! Hugs!
