This is a lovely story with a lot of heart. It is a neat surprise for mom to have a son come home and trick or treat at her house. I assume he hadn't really turned into an ugly Hulk.

I could feel the love in this Halloween story. Nothing scarry, just sweet. Will recognized the voice and called Mom. The best stories end with a grin and a big hug.

Yes, this trick or treat was for the Mom... Can't have the kids getting all the fun, now can we? I was promised a Hershey bar though and I haven't seen it yet. LOl Thanks so much....

Dang it Lady. You don't make a man cry on Halloween. It's supposed to be scary. I miss my son so much. I dressed him as an elf for Christmas, as a pirate for Halloween, and, as a good, honest, and respectful young man every other day of his life. You are the best.

I miss the children. Since I moved to the country (which I love) I don't get any trick or treaters - not even my grandchildren won't come out here. When I lived in town, we were a corner house, and our doorbell never stopped ringing. Hope everyone was safe....Have a wonderful November!
