I'm not a poet, but I love the imagery of the poem, i.e. 'And shadows dance like crunching bones'. It definitely sets the mood of Halloween.
In the second verse, I would say, "Perils may wait, as yet unseen'. 'Horrors' make me want to stay off the streets.
