Nice, brief and to-the-point essay. I too have that same sense of betrayal. A lifelong D, probably more of an independent. The 1st major crack occurred when I listened to Obama's first inauguration speech. I thought it was very arrogant, and disrespectful.

I voted for Hilary and then I found out that she was very hawkish and a war monger. I will definitely never vote for her again. Booth parties are corrupted. We will find out soon about this election.

Disappointment is tough. It really seemed that she was a shoo in for the win. Somehow DJT pulled off a shocking upset win. In her favor she did not attempt a coup, violent or not. I wonder if he has another upset win in his war chest. Many hope and pray that he does not.

Politicians, in general, are just about saying whatever they need to say to acquire whatever it is they want to acquire: money, power, accolades. So I don't see Hilary any differently now than I did back when she first came on the scene, but I did find your post about your own views about her very interesting.
