Karenina, you get more interesting with every piece I read. I have a vivid imagination and a storyteller's voice. I've also led a nomadic lifestyle, so I have a few stories to tell. I am grateful for any pointers and feedback. Thank you.

Yes! The fact that his son insisted he "download" that App was a miracle of modern-day technology. Little did he know it would be the one way for the medivac helicopter to locate him!

    God works in mysterious ways.

    Thanks, Jake!

I think this is a great celebration of the miraculous, and a hopeful message for Rhonda in this difficult time. You captured the scary moment when he had the stroke on the tractor and could have easily crashed and died, if not for that little message that got through to his son. Let's all pray for a recovery. My dad had a stroke so I know how difficult this can be. It is a gut punch. estory

Thanks so much for your review. We're living in an age of an "App" on a phone to be the miracle that allows paramedics to find Wayne--alone in a field, stopped, helpless...

I'm so glad he and Rhonda and family can celebrate a good outcome!

    Prayers continue!

A true miracle out there in that combine, all alone and with one tap, saved his life. What a wonderfully written poem. Best of luck with your writing! Have a great day, and God bless.

    Thanks, Mike!

I guess in these modern times we get to experience hi-tech miracles...

An amazing "App" that made all the difference in getting Wayne the rapid care he needed to have this good outcome!

That was a horrifying experience for Wayne. His son insisting he download an app to detect where his dad was, probably saved Wayne's life. As I mentioned in my review of "Wayne's Story," by Rhonda, I will keep both her and Wayne in prayer, beginning with "Lord, you are the Master, because you took something that could have been a disaster and marked it with your signature ease."

    Amen to your prayer!

Sometimes we don't realize prayers are being answered even before we ask...

    That app?

    No coincidence!

I'm so glad Wayne beat the odds!

    Thanks,

This inspiring poem and the other written by Rhonda is truly inspiring. It also inspires faith and the healing power of prayer. As one who has escaped the Grim reaper's grasp more than once, I am truly inspired by this account.

Karenina, that's such an inspiring non-fictional poem. I have had carotid artery surgery but mine was caught before it could create a stroke. What Wayne had to go through was terrible but, as I stated above, very inspirational. Way to go Wayne.

Well-written. Thanks much for sharing.
