As an outsider looking in from afar, I am beginning to experience fear. Is this man sane? Does he have aspirations of assuming control? Is he competent to lead the world?
All I can think is, God Bless America.

    Thank you, Bob.

This is about our republican running for presidency, Donald Trump. He is insane and his mind is deteriorating rapidly. He is 78 years old, which is not too old for a normal man but he doesn't take care of himself and doesn't make any sense.

He is a despicable man and a terrible ex-presidente. He has a history of wanna be dictator by his own words. His favorite people are dictators like Hitler, Putin, and Kim Jong Un. Trump has said in public, that he will be a dictator on day one and that the enemy is within. He is a convicted felon, rapist, and a bigot. Anyway, I could go on and on but I don't want to bore you. You are lucky to live in another country. I value freedom and the USA constitution. I am praying that Americans will unite, that Harris wins, and that trump will be forgotten.

Thank you for reading and reviewing, take care, Bob.

This is an excellent poem. How true your words are. I hope America realizes the stakes in this election. I like the pictures and the way you listed all the dangers in who wins this election. Great job.

This is telling it like it is, Gypsy. I like that you are speaking out and I hope some are listening. I've already cast my vote against this would-be Hitler.

Hello Gypsy,
You hit the nail on the head with this powerful poem. Trump is the most dangerous internal threat we've faced since the declaration. But I suspect
bias, prejudice and ignorance is at the core.
Your poem provides an excellent juxtaposition of the terror of thirties and forties (that continued on in some places, like Spain, till the seventies)
and the would be dictator that Trump aspires to be in our own time.

Not many know of Ben Franklin's statement about holding onto this gift we
all received from the founders and those who fought to gain that freedom.
Sadly, many won't notice till it's gone.

Hopefully, he'll be defeated once again.
Best wishes to you.
Six stars of freedom.
Robert

It is certainly a scary and worrisome time in America the last several years, not~I'm sure~what our forefathers envisioned when they created our country and constitution. It is so surreal that this man was allowed one presidency, much harder to understand how he can be considered for another term with his history, behavior, lies, convictions, and insanity~and, worse, that people still support and believe him. Your poem speaks truth and I pray the American people use their brains when they vote. Thank you for sharing this! Well done!

Another fine poem, Gypsy....I can feel your revulsion in your words. Perfectly put, exactly how I feel put better than I can, without the four letter descriptive words

Marival, I'm absolutely horrified. None of us here in western Europe can believe what is going on in the US. We are looking on in disbelief. I'm half American. This was not the idea of being an American, ever. Thanks so much for sharing this. I wish I could vote. He is disgusting and dangerous. Ulla xxx

I had a dozen reviews responses and my laptop lost them... oh well. Here it goes again ... lol

Muchisimas gracias quapa. I know the world are watching us in disbelieve. It's such a shame. I pray Harris will win, our future depends on us. I hope some of his supporters will come to their senses. As it stands now, no matter what crazy despicable thing trump does, it's totally alright with them.

Thank you for the exceptional six stars review and understanding.

Hi MariVal,
This scares me to death. How can Donald Trump become president if he backs Hitler and says he wants to be a dictator. This is a good topic that couldn't fit in a shorter poem. Good choice of artwork to remind us of that horrible time and all who died for no good reason.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

-Thanks for sharing everything, Gypsy, and
most important is that you care about this country.
-The situation facing us in this election is fragile,
and you give very good reasons why.
-You also ask a very good question, and my answer is no.
-I couldn't believe the audacity of taking the Bible
inscribing your name on it, and then selling it.
-Votes are critical, and mine has been cast.
-Thanks for sharing this and caring.

This is a flawless plea for our democracy. I know that rhymes, but I mean it just the same. Using the artwork with good old Hilter on it is a great idea. It brings home to us that soon we will decide whether to move ahead or behind us within the realms of Democrats and Republicans. Thanks for facing this atrocity head-on.
Let's hope that the ballot box is full of votes for someone else, anyone else, but Trump.
Jesse
