This is a beautifully penned nonet and very descriptive too. It properly captures how the artist pushes beyond boundaries of comfort to satisfy the audience. Well done, dear Lea. Good luck in the contest.

The author's words are descriptive, interesting and creative. I like how
this author describes the pain of this Art! I also liked the format of
these words. I pondered on these words. The poem flows and connects
well. The artwork is awesome and goes well with these words.
Have a great Sunday! Maria

I really love the dreamy feel of your poem! It's like you captured the grace and struggle of a ballerina all in one. The emotions of being "bewildered" and "starving" really stuck with me. It's a powerful poem that really touched me. Keep it up!

This nonet, Broken Toes, has the proper formatting and allows that the artist will go beyond his/her personal barriers to connect with the muse which demands perfection.

What a unique subject for a poem that you have so eloquently and beautifully portrayed. I am a big fan of the last two lines "starving/art" as I think these two lines most strongly depict what seems to be your message with this poem. Amazing!

Few people understand the pain that ballerinas endure. They torture their bodies in their attempt to defy gravity and physiology! Thank you for your poem that honors them.

An amazing image and overall presentation.
The words and image blend into one and seem to encapsulate the essence of a ballerina.
