I definitely think I be leaving this place is someone threatened punishment and was always watching me. Everything about this place would trigger warning bells for me.

Wow, getting scary for poor Danielle/Grace. She goes out of her way to help Noah, but learns that's not going to help. All she has done is make things worse. And now, she's been threatened to be punished. I'm sure that's coming sooner or later. Oliver can only shield her for so long.
Take care,
Rhonda

She hasn't actually said she was joining them forever, has she? And Mary acts like she is in charge and Danielle is a child. Do they believe that they are in charge of Danielle and Callum now and nothing else matters? I understand that as a cult they believe they are in charge, but Danielle still has her free will and should leave... Not too smart to allow people to control you like that, especially with locked doors.

Mary is certainly a scary person. She so firmly believes in all the rules, even if she knows Oliver wants to leave and eat out in a restaurant. Is Noah alive or a corpse in his bed?

Okay, she survived Mary, but what will Oliver do? I am still worried about Danielle. I wonder if Callum heard her in the hallway. I guess we'll have to wait until the next post. Thank you for sharing this with us.

This is an intriguing story. I've only just started reading it but it has all the elements of a good story. Mystery, evil, and intrigue. I look forward to the next chapter.

The normally assertive Danielle is lost for words. And I don't blame her. Mary is scary, a fact you've conveyed vividly here. But Danielle is taking risks now which are not in her best interest. She has to be less impulsive and plan her manoeuvres cautiously. Very well done, Jacob! Debbie

Thank you, Debbie. In my mind, Mary is more frightening than Oliver. I'm pleased that you enjoyed it.

Yes I can see that. She's so cold and fearsome. Well done on this. You're becoming my first post to review:)
