I did get the message and it's a good one. I am curious how many of us know somebody who is two-faced. I bet all of us. Thank you for sharing and I enjoyed reading.

This flash is thought-provoking. You illustrated nicely that people are quick to judge, but don't realize they are doing the very same thing they're judging in others. Great picture! Blessings. Carol

I love how you manage to get a meaning behind your short pieces, Carol and you do a brilliant job of writing them into your stories. An excellent, well written piece. I enjoyed reading it.

(Nice dialogue driven flash, Carol!)

This is amusing and really quite true. It he tells her she is beautiful and doesn't mean a word of it, he's actually proving how two-faced he is. Neither of them would be good friends to hang around with.

That's pretty odd. I guess when he's wearing the one face, he can't see that he's being two-faced. Great job with the dialogue to show us the real character of this man.

Being two faced is actually quite an important issue, because it is tied so much with the ability to trust another. Wasn't quite sure about the ending - is it that he wouldn't wear his present face if he had another option?

lol It might be a stretch without the photo, but with it, it works perfectly. Plus, I always go for the stretch because sometimes it works out very well and if not, it was worth a shot! Nicely done.

Chuckling. Oh those sweet little lies that go with kisses..."Miss Contrary Mary" needs a period. Two faced seems to me like the Biblical "forked tongue" I guess. Saying one thing and meaning another. Saying she is beautiful to get kisses while hating her gossiping. I liked the ending.

This flash fiction post seems to suggest that there are literal two-faced people and not-so-literal two-faced people.
I liked the way the dialogue carries the story.
Little suggestions at the beginning:
"Can't stand that girl? Always putting down other girls."
I think, if the young man is talking, he might mean to say it with this punctuation:
"Can't stand that girl! Always putting down other girls."
"Miss Contrary Mary"
I think you just need a period after Mary. Then the quotation marks would follow.
