Sami does get into trouble though it may not of her own making .I had to laugh imagining the helpless Sami and the massive steer. I still think she is a kind of cute....

Thank you for the kind review. Yes, Sami has a way of getting herself into trouble. This whole situation started with her picking up a student.

Hello, Barbara, anther engaging chapter. Sami is cute. Sometimes she comes across like a little girl and Noah as a father figure.

I thought Sami was going to get kidnapped... I'm glad she wasn't.

Well I done.

No more kidnapping for Sami. She is completely out of her element. Thank you for the kind review.

Even if I couldn't normally climb up trees, if I had that beast staring at me, I'd be up there so fast. I'd probably leave a trail of dust behind me. Even though I have lived in the country all my life, and used to animals, that doesn't mean I'd trust them! Excellent chapter, Barbara. Well done. Sandra xxx

Hi Barbara, this is a great new chapter. I had to laugh as well as she came across a longhorn. To be honest, I'm not sure how I would have reacted. They're beautiful creatures, though. Yes, human trafficking is a huge problem, here in Europe as well. Hugs, Ulla xcx

Nice chapter, Barb. I thought you were going to give the reader another bump in the road. Glad you didn't. Things are smoothing out now. This is good. Time to wind things up.

Hello Barbara,
one wouldn't have to be a female to be intimidated by a longhorn steer. I don't know anything about them, but if one decided to do the tango with you, it would be remembered. I haven't had peach pie in years, and I don't know if I've ever had fresh peach pie. They don't grow in Alaska, and the ones we get at Wal Mart are a poor excuse for the real thing. Thanks for sharing this gal.
Blessings,
Tom

I do understand about the fresh peaches. We have 5 peach trees in our yard. It's hard to beat a fresh peach. Thank you for the kind review.

Noah has matured so much and become a relationship counselor in the process! I can't relate to Sami's emotional outbursts but I'm not an emotional person. That's probably why the Romance genre isn't for me. I liked Sami's encounter with the steer. I'm sure here we have some rules about keeping animals fenced in but sometimes a sheep or goat can get loose and grace in someone else's yard.

And I enjoyed listening. The flow of your story is so smooth and your structure and your paragraphing is very good. Also, I enjoy the fact that you use very good punctuation in your work. May you have a blessed evening and may God bless your week. Patricia

I get tickled every time I think about city folk walking outside to find a stir that big staring back at them. The stir probably too lazy to move much and eating what grass there is, but the viewer fright or flight instincts heightened greatly. LOL.
Thanks for sharing.
