Congratulations on the Win!
I loved your entry, a perfect example for the Senryu poetry form contest.
It made me think of my husband...
I can remember just sitting, and watching others dancing across the floor, while smiling at each other, actually enjoying themselves.
My Richard would take my arm, hold me close, and I'd become that smiling lady in the picture...lol
A few words often mean a great deal to some.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, it's always a pleasure when I think of him...it's been over thirty years since he left us in final sleep, but my memories will never die....Blessings

Hi,
This is a well done senryu. This is a good extended metaphor for a good marriage as the two in the picture seem to have. The look so happy.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a terrific rest of the week.

Oh, this is a wonderful offering for the contest here -- your image is a great compliment to your poem! Certainly brings a smile to the reader's (of any age!) face! Thanx so much for sharing and best of luck to you in the contest! ;)

What a lovely review, thank you.

What a beautiful poem and music to my heart. When life gets you down, the sound of music can lift you up, and sharing in the arms of another as you move together is the ultimate of moments.

Nice poem
1.fall Instead of felt could intensify the effect of line 2
2.even though you are not supposed to title this type of poem, I will say it could be improved did you mean (Smooth) to reference Smooth jazz and smooth dance moves?
I don't think it encapsulates the poem, the idea of pulling someone back in to the swing of things.
I don't know how this fits the livelyhood category? As in work
Over all a good poem.
