Ciao!
This is a cute entry but I think it could have been even better had you put Ciao instead of the last Chow
Now
Time to walk my Chow Chow
Ciao!
They have the same sound and as you know Ciao means bother hello and good bye.

That's a cool idea, but 'Ciao' has two syllables, according to Google.

Oopppss I got carried away and forgot about the one syllable requirement 😅
Sorry ! 🥹

Well done, and good job with the 1-6-1 format, you never know where ore of inspiration will come from. Or what shape it will take in the forge of our imaginations. But it's always an adventure finding out.

Love your words. I am always delighted to come across a dog poem and I think this is the first one I have read about a chow. Excellent 1-6-1 form and use of words to create a canine verse.

an excellent entry for the Rhyme That 1-6-1 writing prompt. this is a very cute and unique poem. I enjoyed how you used part of the dog breed name as your third line word. Great job with this.

Possibly it might be best if you chose another rhyming word for the the third line, something like bow, after all our dogs are ultra important to us, beautifully written, great idea, good luck, blessings Roy

That's two nicks on the second chow. I might have to change that.

Well done

A good 1-6-1.
I bet that dog is strong,
and pulls you right along. :)
and I hope he does not
live where it's hot.
Just being silly.
Good luck with your entry.

How do I justify rating this higher than I should? I appreciate the wordplay here, but I'm not sure if it technically counts as rhyming, even if the context of the words is different, though they are spelled the same.
