Dodie Rae's been itching for a confrontation with Riley, and now she's had one--with predictable results. She's cuffed and marched off to jail. Uh-oh, though. He saw the red in her eyes, and now maybe he's wondering about something. Will he be able to put two and two together? And what does Bay Lynn have in mind following Riley to his house?
This is getting good now, Steve.

I'm only a third of the way through this novel, and am excited about their future endeavors. I think we all knew she'd end up in jail at some point, lol. Maybe now she'll control her temper as well as she controls the wolf. Thank you for your support, Jim.
God bless,
Steve

Another great chapter, I'm just disappointed that Dodi didn't beat the cowboy piss out of Riley. Of course, keeping her inner wolf in check might have been impossible. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Ric, for this incredible review, my friend. Beat the Cowboy piss out of Riley-I love that! She had to keep the wolf at bay, which was difficult, but she did it. I'll have the next Chapter out in a couple of days.
God bless,
Steve

This is a huge compliment, Sandra. Thank you for this incredible review. I am having a blast with this novel and will have another chapter in a few days. Beware: One of the chapters is a bit erotic, but only that one. I feel I have a series building here.
God bless,
Steve

Woah, that was tense between Dodie Rae and Officer Riley, I wasn't expecting him to make an appearance so soon and I could definitely feel Dodie's anger. Another excellent chapter, Steve, I really enjoyed reading it.

Awesome, I'm happy you enjoyed it. I'm having so much fun with this novel. The tension is thick and I fear it may come to a head, soon.
Thank you, Jacob for this incredible review.
God bless,

Thank you, Karen. Get some rest, and may your muse fill you with beautiful stories and names. If Riley is an abuser, he'll get what he deserves. If not, what makes him the asshole he seems to be? Also, who's going to convince Dodie Rae otherwise? Oh, I have to finish Chapter twenty today! I already know what and why. I just need to get it on paper.
Have a blessed week, Young Lady.

Bay Lynn knows a whole lot more than she is telling. Karen

Yes, she does.

Well done yet again, Steve! Dodie Rae is ramping up, and now Bay Lynn is going to take the baton and finish off what has been put into motion. I'm terrified to both read more and NOT read more!! All your characters are so vivid and, well, here's that word again: terrifying!! Keep it coming!! xoxox

I love this review!
Thank you for the incredible six-stars you've planted in my sky. Terrified! That's what gets the blood flowing and puts one on the edge of their seats. Best compliment ever, Rachelle. I am starving for the chance to write daily, as much as I possibly can. I just have to get to retirement. Unless Dodie Rae's speeds things up.
God bless,
Steve

We'll keep our fingers crossed for that!! Did you read the interview with Lea Tonin? Just a YEAR AGO, Steve, she was where you are...and now she's an INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AUTHOR!! It absolutely, positively COULD happen! xoxox

I will read it! Thank you for this encouragement.

The indications are that Officer Riley is a wife beater, by his conversation, they think that women need to held down. But she's got to be careful otherwise she's heading for an early demise. Beautifully written Steve, blessings Roy
Typo : Officer Riley said said with (swole) chest, swelled?

First off, thank you for catching that hidden little issue. Thank you, Roy, for this incredible review, my friend. I think I will be able to finish Chapter Twenty today. I'll wait a couple of days before posting.
God bless,
Steve

What an enjoyable chapter. This easily kept my interest. The dialogue flows naturally. You do a great job of showing the relationships between Dodie Rae, Helen, and the police officers. You may want to look at showing more and telling less. For example, instead of stating, "Dodie Rae listened as Officer Carey asked Helen how she was feeling," you might show her anxiety through her thoughts. I think that would bring us in the scene more. But outside of that I didn't see anything and really enjoyed the chapter!

That's a great idea, Michael, I will play around with this, thank you. I am excited that you enjoyed this chapter and look forward to your next review. I would love to write all day, but work is too demanding. I hope to retire in a couple of years, and then it's on, lol.
God bless,
Steve

Thank goodness you posted today when I have a fresh supply of stars. I love that now Riley has seen just enough of Dodie Rae to know something is up. I think he was baiting her to see if she was a werewolf. Thankfully, she just swung at him like a regular person. A very riveting chapter that now has us watching Bay Lynn. Wonder what she has up her sleeve. Gretchen

Thank you, Gretchen, for this exceptional, six-star review, my friend. I'm working on finishing the next chapter and hope to have it up by Tuesday or Wednesday. I was even surprised by what happened in the next chapter. I just want to tell the world, lol.

Is Bay Lynn going to attack Riley. I didn't see that coming, but I do now. If she does, then it will confuse Carey as to Dodie Rae's involvement. Okay. I really like this story. Thank you for sharing it with us.
She then turned to Sam and said.
"Well, he is short compared to Dodie Rae." (said, & move the dialogue closer to 'said,')

Thank you, Barbara, for this excellent and helpful review, my friend. You may be surprised by what may happen in the next chapter. I was. Lol. I look back on the chapters and am amazed at what a name and a dream can do. Also, my ideas flow differently in print from the original plan; I want to write daily but will have to wait until I retire.
God bless,
Steve
