Your characters seem very real. I understand how Sami must feel. Noah's job is dangerous, and it would be hard for him to have the time to pursue a normal relationship with her once they are no longer together. It seems to me if they still don't know if what they have is real, their being apart will make it less so. I wouldn't want to be married to a man with a job like that. It works for Bob and Sarah because they are doing the same kind of work.

It is good that Sami and Noah manage to talk as neither is able to do that easily. Unfortunately, Sami is good a misunderstanding and Noah is having difficulty with regulations. All the bad guys have to be rounded up for the two of them to ever reach a place they both want in their own different ways.

Hello Barbara,
I have mixed feelings with this post. It started off really interesting and then took a turn for the somewhat predictable insecurities of Sami and Noah having to try to smooth over her feelings and assure her of his feelings. Frankly, I don't see how the two of them could ever really make it as a couple. Perhaps once she's considered safe things will change.

I like, no I love the way this story is progressing. The valuable lesson here is that no matter how important your job may be, you still need to make room for the things that make you human. If you are fortunate enough to find love, you should embrace it as fully as possible. If the one you are trung to show love to is fighting you tooth and nail, giving no quarter, that one may not be the one for you. Your heart will reveal the truth and you need to accept it.

This is an intriguing story about human trafficking, and it immediately piqued my interest. Your dialogue is excellent, which is an art. In a few short paragraphs, I felt like I understood the characters and their motivations. I like longer chapters so I can get involved in the story. Now I wonder how they will find the young girl waiting for your next installment. Again, I am impressed with your dialogue. gayla

I am glad that the fourth centre has been shut down and more children(they are just that) have been rescued.. Samis insecurities and doubts have to disappear and I hope some positive decisions woud be taken .A good progress in the story...

Hooray for Noah - he's come such a long way in the relationship department. As for Sami, I think she's regressed a bit. She's a bit too emotional to be a policeman's wife. But now they know where they stand with each other.
