Such a poignant, heartfelt verse! I loved the way it started and drew me into the poem. Then it flowed with good rhyming and assonance, exploring those emotions ever deeper and ending on an upbeat, spiritual note. Well done, Lindsey! Debbie

In any relationship it is hard sometimes not to take each other for granted. Now, when I look back I think of it as being confident that they are always there, they had our back and we theirs. Grief is a difficult road to travel, good luck and keep using your writing to help you.
