I hope that message doesn't relate to any other voting contest! A fun post with a deeper, more worrying subtext. As if that would be possible!! Well done and good luck, Debbie

Absolutely! But at least one candidate was nominated by their party, while the other didn't get a single vote. Not sure what's being promised or by whom, but your statement is 100% correct. Lord help us all. Best of luck in the contest. :)

Yeah the way I see it, Trump is more dangerous if he loses and Harris is more dangerous if she wins. Not enough people are calling out Democrats on abandoning democracy, but I sure am, if you check my profile after the voting is over : )

Hello Anonymous primate with the distinctive font,
Yes, "...same as it ever was..." as the Great 20th Century philosopher David Byrne has noted.
I think even if you took the blatant funding away, the taxation imbalance whereby such a very small percentage of Very Big Business pays such a substantial amount of tax, skews (if not skewers) the system.
But then what do you replace it with, and how do you persuade the buyers of power to yield?
Answers on a postcard please, delivered to your nearest barricade.
Perhaps more importantly (certainly more important than the upcoming election in the USA), if you submit your entry with 5 bananas attached, the contest committee might see the majesty in your work.
Then again, they may just eat the bananas.
I wish you well with your continued writing.
cheers

Fine words for the 5-7-5 contest and so very true too. The race for the whitehouse is on and the battle is in full swing. Neither candidate will have an easy ride, but the woman in the picture is rather dangerous, love Dolly x
