A rather haunting scene here. I like the play on death with taking your breath away as well as referring to its beauty. Yet another thoughtful and atmospheric post. Thank you, Gypsy. Debbie

I never thought of a cemetery as being beautiful at night, but hey, why not? Anything's possible, right? I enjoyed reading and as usual your presentation is wonderful.

I smiled when I read this one, Gypsy, I find the cemetery to be very peaceful and beautiful. Taking my breath away? I leave that to my asthma which put me in hospital again. I'm recovering. I promise to try to write these now. I think this one of yours is fabulous and wish I could come up with something as good. I enjoyed it, my friend. Warmest hugs, Sandra xxx

Thank you very much, Sandra.. I pray you will get better soon. The last line is a juxtaposition of the Beaty of the night takes my breath away and cemetery where people died taking their last breath.

Thank you. My asthma has not been very nice these last few years. But I have a really good asthma consultant working with me now. It has been getting me down. Thank you for the prayers, I really appreciate that. 😊xx

I understand feeling down. I suffer from depression but in the last six years I have been doing well. I do take medication and it helps a lot.

I know the sadness that comes with grief is not the same. I had my share of grief as well.

I pray that you find peace and feel better soon.

    Gypsy hugs 🙏 and blessings

Well, every one in the cemetery (underground) had their breath taken away before. Hopefully, the narrator will be safe and just enjoy the beauty of the autumnal night!

Beautiful Haiku. I agree completely. I used to go to some very old cemeteries especially in the fall and walk through them at night. It was so peaceful and i was never afraid to be there. Thanks for sharing.

I like the qualifying word, 'even', for in reality only once in my life have,U actually looked at a cemetery as breathtaking. I do see how it might be thought of as bring that way. One such time was at the tomb of the Unlmown. soldier. A very sacred place. Thank you for sharing.
