Hello. I hope you are having a great day! I enjoyed reading your poem and think all of the examples you used were perfect for this prompt. The contest is for a poem that uses the 5-7-5 syllable format. Your second line is 8 syllables and your last line is 6. In the second line, you might consider using a contraction with kettle (kettle's) to eliminate a syllable and complying with the prompt rules, and for the third line, you could drop the 'a' and have ''recipe for fall" and that would fix it. Hope you have the best luck in the contest!

An excellent entry for the 5-7-5 Recipe for Fall writing prompt. There truly is nothing better in the Fall than a homemade apple pie made from orchard apples hopefully picked yourself. Nicely done.
