Every married woman in the universe will bond with your story. It's hilarious, and I found myself nodding and laughing out loud. The lines are tongue-in-cheek and extremely clever. There are so many to love. For example: "I could have turned water into wine, and he'd ask why it wasn't Pinot Noir. The twist of finding a lover surprised me. It's great that you cheated with nature, i.e., the Ocean, and fun for me, the reader. I can't think of one fault: keep reinventing yourself. gayla

Where've you been Iza? Busy reinventing yourself? Is should like your prince charming was a bad joke. I guess you ditched him but stayed in Canada. I like the ocean too but there are some things it can't satisfy. There are so decent men out there. I didn't say perfect. That is a myth but decent enough to make it worthwhile to keep them around. I 'm glad to see you posting again.

Hi Iza, I am going to check out some of your other chapters, I'm sorry I've missed them. I can understand this, the ocean is the best place to be someone else, and experience freedom from the shakles of life. I was there a few centuries ago!! Men, like your husband here, think life is there to do with it as he pleases. Forget anyone else, he is the most important person in the whole universe. I sometimes think about writing about my life, but it has been locked away behind a thick, bank vault like door, in the far recess of my mind. Perhaps I'll unlock it one day. I love how you have written this, it isn't full of self-pity, but very open, quite a bit of humour, and an enjoyable read. I will be reading more of your story, my friend. Warmest hugs, Sandra xxx

Such a fun ride to follow along with the emotions you have written in your chapter here -- love your references to both literature and big screen to help the reader smile! ;) Look forward to reading more... thanx for sharing! :-) Yvette

It's nice to see your witty writing popup in my inbox and I'm sure there are many who can relate to your story as almost a flashback. Thanks for sharing.

I know how much you love the ocean. I am familiar with the fairytale promised to little girls but you're an independent woman and are very capable. Besides you're God's child so a royal princess! Good to see you back, Iza!

Did you mean:
Iza 4.0 not Isa?

I enjoyed reading your story. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'm not sure why there's so many quotation marks.

here I was "new country, language, culture"and, oh yeah, & I wasn't just adjusting to Canada"I was auditioning for stereotypes (space needed after quotation mark)

slaving away "not for some evil stepfamily, but for my "beloved " husband. (one too many quotation marks)

So, I had to navigate this tangled mess we call life, and God helped me, I found a way" somehow.
& "I'm currently on my fourth reinvention. &
"Sunrise kissing the ocean"an eternal love affair." & That was my refrain from any provocation. Because let's face it" the Ocean has never betrayed me. (random quotation mark)

Oh Iza, thank you for sharing your story. I loved your secret affair with the sea and can commiserate that hubby and me share different points of view about it as well. Your honesty is refreshing and encouraging. I hope this reinvention is all you hope it to be. Hugs,

Meliss
