Your free verse poem caught my attention, I use to help my Grandfather plant soy beans back 60+ years ago. I would sit on the planter, drill, and my Papa would drive the tractor. Your poem took me back.

This sounds like a very real experience and I as I have never lived on a farm, I enjoyed your day out in the field here. I would suggest you say (through) not (thru), keep text abbreviations away from poetry. I welcome you to the Fanstory community, love Dolly x x x

Thanks for the feedback, you are correct this poem is a first hand account, I lived on a farm then and still do know, I disagree that thru shouldn't be used in poetry.
