Mateo's involvement here injects some tension into the relationship between Sami and Noah, even though she has deffinitely chosen Noah and keeps slamming the door on him. He doesn't seem to want to give up. So we don't quite know what will happen, if he will make a step in the wrong direction, or not. His willingness to help out in the investigation of Chen seems a bit weird. He is willing to take punches, or at least show that he will take punches, to Sami. But he also seems afraid of stepping ahead of Noah. estory

Mateo and Sami go way back. He knew Myra. Thank you for the kind review.
Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
This has been a successful night, Noah is back safe and sound and Sami is naturally over the moon. What surprised me was that there wasn't more interest/detail about Myra's condition? If Sami was being protected, I would, at least, have expected her to inquire. But this is an excellent chapter with good dialogue and pace, quite a celebratory one too. Well done, Barbara! Debbie

Now that's our girl. Don't hold anything back and tell it like it is. She's a handful, and Noah knows it and loves it! I'm glad the night's events went well and that Myra, though seriously ill, was rescued. That's got to make Sami feel better.
