No honor among thieves... As predicted, they never intended to let the girls go and thank the spiritual world (et al) that Eleanor has more than one superpower. She's a mom ~ and we all know we're going to be there somehow when one of ours is in trouble!

You are going to love the next chapter...Eleanor at her finest! I love her so much! LOL Can't say that Henry or Bryce will think very highly of her though.

Still following. It reminds me of those old radio serials that used to come on before tv. It must be great to have a helicopter Mom after she's gone. And such a sweet one too. Enjoying the storyline.

I knew that Eleanor could show up in the car anytime she wanted. So she really didn't need the code for the safe room. I'm sure the two head strong mother-daughter team will take care of Henry and the enforcer.

Eleanor is always there when the action is about to go down. Gotta love her! Thanks so much for the review, Helen. As you see, I am behind ...flooded basement and company arriving. At least I am not in the hurricane so I shall not complain. Appreciate the review and thoughts.

Never worry too much about a gun when you have your very own mother as your ghost protector. LOL. They can't shoot what they can't see and don't know is there. Thanks for sharing.

Nobody has better ideas than you, I'm sure. But I'm betting you're a lot like me, and keep your best ideas in secret. :-)

Oh goodness, How are you going to save those girls trapped in the warehouse, and infact get Donatelli and Garth to get here in time. Full of suspense in this one. Looking forward to the next, which may be waiting for me as I am behind in reviewing.

It sounds like it's Eleanor to the rescue. Now I understand why she switched the research papers from the safe. Good chapter, with lots of suspense. Hugs! Carol

Yes, Eleanor can foresee some of the future but she can't tell anyone what she sees...so she took the papers from the safe. Thanks so much for the kind review as always.

This is an exciting turn of events. With a ghost and a cop heading to the rescue, there should be help on the way to save the two girls. And it sounds as if Mom came to the rescue for Jenna. It's all in the timing. Which reminds me of a change you need to make at the beginning of section 5. You have Jenna walking away from car and then stepping out of it.

HELP! Is this where you are referring to?....
As directed, Jenna drove her car into the empty parking lot and continued to the back of the building, shutting off her headlights as she rounded the corner. The driver of the black SUV turned his lights on, blinding her as she stepped out of her car.
She heard movement to the left of her and then felt the barrel of a gun press into her side. The man's voice was gruff when he spoke. "Keep walking. Towards the car."
Are you talking about where it says she rounded the corner? If so, I meant that she was pulling the car around back. Could you tell me where I went wrong?
Appreciate the help, especially when these old eyes don't see it. Thanks!

I believe you didn't mention she was in the car when she rounded the building. I read it as she left the car and started around the building on foot. Could be I read it wrong, but I did reread it a couple of times.

I can imagine what Eleanor will, possibly aided by Danni, an amazing episode Carol, I was wondering about the ghosts coming to Jenna's aid, these brutal men are the pits of mankind, they've probably lost their soil, both of them, and the others, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

The next chapter should be fun...at least for a few of the characters. LOL Of course, Eleanor must be Eleanor... and Danni and Matthew will arrive too. Thanks so much!

Your idea to include a ghost in a detective story is phenomenal. As a reader, I know Eleanor exists, but I never know when, or if she will appear. When she appears, I am never sure what powers she will be able to use. That's one of the things that makes your novels so compelling. This chapter is packed with action. I look forward to the next chapter.
I assume your next explosive novel will be posted during November for the contest. Again, I can't wait.

Thanks, Lorraine. Eleanor and Danni are not the typical ghosts in a story but that was my plan. I'm glad that they remain entertaining to you and others. I think you will like the next chapter.
Yes, I imagine it will begin in the contest...Might as well end the year with a little ghostly spirit. LOl

I can't wait to see how Ellenor is going to save Jenna. Of course, Matthew and Danni on are the way. Where's Garth? I do like this story.
Henry didn't like the idea at all. (you can omit 'at all', it's understood)
Trembling, Sophia gave a sharp command. "Max, sit!" (command,)
Eleanor smiled, "You go with him. I'll catch up." (smiled.)
The man's voice was gruff when he spoke. "Keep walking. (spoke,)
giving Henry an order. "Set the fire!" (order,)

Got those periods and commas in their place again and thank you! I guess I just have a mental block on when or where what goes.... Thanks as always.
