It makes me sick how we treat our animals. Aminals were never meant to be household pets. They are not meant to be inside. They are certainly not meant to be in cages or zoos. And never ever in a medical testin g facilty. My soapbox. :-)

I agree with you. I have been watching off-late, the Shabani troop that lives in a zoo in Japan.
They act just like us and often I get the impression that they know they are prisoners.
Only Nene, the old female, was born in the wild yet somehow the others born in captivity, still sense that they don't belong there.

Ciao I haven't talk to you in so long. This is a wonderful piece there for a little monkey. I'm so sad for her. It's terrible what they do. Well, at least it turned out to a rescue.
Hope you've been well. Miss you.

What a heartwarming piece! I love how you capture Vanilla's change from a lab rat to experiencing the beauty of the outside world. It's so nice to read about Vanilla's journey toward a better life. Thank you for sharing this uplifting moment!

Thank you for the lovely review, hopefully CHIMP HAVEN will be able to save other animals trapped in labs.
Awe was stamped all over Vanilla's face..
I also loved how the Alpha male encouraged her to follow him out and about. It seemed love at first sight.

Hi
I am glad this animal gets to enjoy the end of her life. It is sad that she was used so during her life.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a good rest of the week.

All in all, Vanilla is one of the lucky ones, she can still live for another 30 years out in the open.
I hope CHIMP HAVEN will save others still trapped and suffering in labs.
Best wishes for your new publication on Amazon !
